Dr. Brooke Davis is from Crockett, California. She received her bachelor’s in biology from the University of California Santa Cruz. After working at a California municipal animal shelter as a veterinary assistant, she relocated to Kansas for veterinary school. She joined HSBV in 2021 after completing a post-doctoral internship in shelter medicine at Kansas State University.
Dr. Davis is passionate about shelter medicine and providing access to veterinary care to community pets. She is an avid advocate for preserving the human-animal bond. Her veterinary interests include surgery, shelter medicine, feline medicine, and teaching. She is a Fear Free certified professional.
When not practicing veterinary medicine, Brooke enjoys hiking, cooking and gardening. She enjoys painting her nails with fun, intricate designs and has an ever-rotating collection of houseplants she occasionally overwaters. She is excited to be in Colorado with her husband and three cats.
